About Me

Pauline Brown BSc Hons
ETUK Equi-Therapist

I have come from a background in Psychology and have altered direction to become a fully qualified Complementary Therapist.

Proud to be a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (fht.org.uk).

My human therapy training was undertaken with an accredited holistic college based in Kent –www.elemitraining.co.uk – and it was tough, thorough and supportive to ensure that my work is of the utmost professional level.I am qualified in Aromatherapy, Body, Pregnancy and Indian Head Massage.

I am also a Reiki II practitioner.  For those who are unaware of Reiki it is a way by using Universal Life Energy (Japanese word Reiki – pronounced ray-key) to promote relaxation, well-being, and a sense of being able to cope in times of stress and challenge.  I also am able to use this with horses as well as my human clients.

My lifelong love of animals and in particular horses has enabled me to further my training to include equine sports and remedial massage therapy www.equi-therapy.co.uk for horses and ponies of all shapes, sizes and disciplines. The training was thorough and extensive to ensure that my equine clients get the best treatment they deserve.

I am fully insured and also a member of ACAT – Association of Complementary Animal Therapists.

From April 2018 I will also be able to provide a deeper equine massage treatment using Fascial Edge Tool – ask me for more details.

I am based near Sherborne, Dorset and am completely mobile in both fields of expertise and will fit in with your needs and requirements. All treatments are given following a thorough consultation to ensure you get the best out of every visit.
